He writes a monthly column on health and wellbeing issues for his home town magazine.
Over the years he has worked with many patients with various forms of cancer and at different stages of their recovery, he is especially interested in contributing to the recovery process of breast cancer sufferers and breast cancer research. Because of this interest he has given time, energy and resolve to his patients and the development of this CD,
An Aid To Emotional Recovery After Breast Cancer©.
Michael used his five years of experience working with breast cancer sufferers, taking just under two years to develop and produce this program. He unreservedly gives thanks to those individuals who gave up their time, gave information, shared their stories, and answered questions with an honesty, openness, passion, bravery and patience rarely encountered in his years of professional practice. This CD is their work too. Michael is also working on recordings to aid in breast cancer awareness and to contribute further in its treatment. Grateful appreciation and acknowledgement is especially given to Warrington Breast Cancer support Group.
In July 2005 Michael won the Innovation and Research Award 2005 for his work and development of
An Aid To Emotional Recovery After Breast Cancer©
program at the prestigious Warrington Business Awards.
Michael continues to see patients on a daily basis because he believes that only by working with people and their presenting problems can he feel sure that he remains at the cutting edge of his profession and the development of quality self help audio programs.
